In order to ensure that we are providing the best tutors for each student, we only employ credentialed teachers and experts in their field. Arete Plus tutors also receive a background check prior to employment.

Our tutors come to your home at a time that is most convenient for you and your family. If you prefer for our tutors to meet at an alternative setting such as a local library we are happy to accommodate that request as well. Arete Plus Tutoring services are extremely flexible and dynamic in order to meet the needs of each student that we tutor.

You may choose from our list of services for your child or use a blended program, which will focus on aspects from 2 or more of our listed services. Our goal is to find the program that will fit best for each student’s individual learning needs.

Arete Plus Tutoring delivers a highly structured service that begins with an initial assessment to gain a clear understanding of each student's specific learning needs. Within the initial assessment we target the following areas:

Guardian questions and concerns
Current academic levels
Feedback from the student's current classroom teacher(s)

Unlike most other tutoring services, the assessment process is included in the price of our services. Once the initial assessment is completed we develop an educational program based upon the needs of the individual.

Progress specific to your child and their individual learning program/goals will be provided via e-mail so that you can track your child's progress. All of the progress is reviewed by both our Program Director and in home Tutor allowing us to carefully create the most effective services on a weekly basis for all of our students.
